Key Features of ZXW Ceramic Pressure Sensors

Choose the diaphragm design, signal conditioning approach and output format that fit your pressure measurement assembly. ZXW offers ceramic sensor cores and modules with different configurations for OEM integration.

Recessed and Flat Diaphragm Designs

Core series include recessed and flat diaphragm designs. Review the pressure-facing surface, sealing arrangement and mounting dimensions when selecting a design for your assembly.

Recessed diaphragm: Z1860, Z1830, Z1360 and Z1330.

Flat diaphragm: Z1331 and Z1361.

Core and Module Integration Options

Choose a sensor core when signal conditioning will be handled within your own electronics. Choose a module with conditioning electronics when its specified supply and output match your device requirements.

Voltage and Current Output Modules

Available module series provide 0.5–4.5 V voltage output or 4–20 mA current output. Select the output format to match your receiving circuit, and check the supply voltage and wiring requirements of the chosen series.

Voltage output: Z1836, Z1866 and Z1366.

Current output: Z1838 and Z1868.

Integration and Mounting Considerations

Review the mechanical, sealing and electrical requirements before integrating a ceramic pressure sensor into your device. Confirm the selected model against your assembly design and operating conditions.

Mechanical Fit and Mounting Space

Check the ceramic body dimensions, mounting position and pressure port alignment against your housing design. For modules, allow space for the circuit board, connection wires and assembly access.

Sealing and Media Compatibility

Confirm the sealing location and seal material for your measuring medium and operating conditions. Assess compatibility across all wetted components, including the sensor surface, seals and housing.

Electrical Connections and Signal Processing

For cores, confirm the excitation and signal conditioning requirements. For modules, match the specified supply voltage and output signal to your receiving circuit. Verify the pin or wire assignment using the selected model’s connection information.

Pressure and Operating Conditions

Specify the required pressure reference, normal working pressure and possible pressure peaks. Confirm the model’s rated range, overload limits and temperature specifications before evaluating it in your equipment.

Share your housing drawing, measuring medium, pressure requirements and electrical interface with ZXW to discuss a suitable sensor configuration.

Ceramic Pressure Sensor FAQs

A core is the ceramic sensing element used within a pressure measurement assembly. A module combines the sensing element with signal conditioning electronics. Choose according to your mechanical design and how your device processes the sensor signal.

When selecting a core, confirm its excitation, output characteristics and the conditioning required by your receiving electronics. The voltage and current outputs listed in the module table apply to the corresponding modules, rather than to every bare core.

Each listed pressure value corresponds to a separate rated pressure variant. A series summarized as 2–600 bar includes several individual options within those limits. Specify the required rated pressure and confirm the complete SKU before ordering.

The listed Z1836, Z1866 and Z1366 series provide 0.5–4.5 V output. Z1838 and Z1868 provide 4–20 mA output. Supply requirements vary by series, so check the model table and connection information when matching a module to your circuit.

Suitability must be assessed for the specific medium and operating conditions. Provide the fluid or gas composition, temperature and pressure conditions. Compatibility should cover the sensor surface, seals and all other parts exposed to the medium.

Custom options are listed for selected module series. Share the required pressure option, electrical interface and installation constraints with ZXW. The feasibility and specifications of any requested changes should be confirmed before proceeding.

Include the series or complete SKU in your inquiry, and specify whether you need a dimensional drawing, pin assignment or electrical specifications. For modules, request the overall assembly dimensions as well as the ceramic body dimensions.

Provide the application, measuring medium, required pressure range and reference type, operating temperature, installation space and electrical requirements. Include the expected quantity and any available drawings to help identify suitable options.
